What's next.

No pics for this one, just an update re what's happening.
Richard has been in touch he has almost completed the next set of sculpts for the Jacobite range.
This will be the British troops 'at ready', the second campaign dress figure with coat buttoned up and hat turned down, this will be for all the current poses.
The Irish Piquets marching with command so you can use them for French and also another pose which I'm not telling yet plus command.

After these are released and my next slot comes around we have agreed he will do the British Dragoons mounted and four or five skirmishing on foot.
An Irish/French firing line and a 3 figure Command vignette (not decided what yet -suggestions?)

We have pretty much agreed the rest of the range to see us through to the end of the year and possibly into early next but Manchesters foot, all the Jacobite cavalry, Baggots hussars on foot are in there. Don't forget Fitzjames' horse and the LifeGuard can be also used for French Cavalry.

On the Border Reiver side Martin should have another set of Gallowglass ready May/June these will be advancing/attacking and will be followed by some Irish Horse and a new horse for the Reivers.

Next year I also want to start a new range with Richard, his suggestion and more on that later.

Any comments, suggestions, thought greatly appreciated.

The General - Now available

We have eventually found the foot and mounted version of the General figure for the Border Reiver range and had a production mould made :)
He will be in the shop over the weekend £6.50 per pack for both the foot and mounted figure.
I aim to get them painted next week

Stock Arrived !

Well I spent most of my St. Patricks Day and night sorting through the 15+ Kilos
of figures that Griffin sent me.
Then it was on to packing the pre.orders for either posting or collection at Salute for which I am very grateful.

 Thought I would also post a slightly better picture of the firing line, still no Grenadiers as I have just finished basing them today.

Don't forget  I will be trading at the Cannon show at Retford on the 30th March and will be visiting Salute, there's still the opportunity to order for collection at the shows and receive a discount on the figure price.

Brtish Firing Line Painted

I attended the Albanich show in Dumfries on Saturday and had a great time. It also allowed me to show the recently painted British Firing Line for the Crann Tara Miniatures range.

I am pleased to say got positive feedback and some nice pre.orders.
Haven't had time to get the Grenadiers finished but they are now on the painting table.

The picture shows the Command, Charge your Bayonet pose and the firing pose with figures in both regulation and campaign dress.

There's a few intruders from the other ranges in the background so apologies.

Richard is starting shortly on the British 'at ready' figures and the campaign dress variant with the tricorne turned down. In the next 'batch' there will also be the Irish Piquets so I am looking forward to see what comes.

Government Infantry available to Pre.order.

I attach some pictures of some of my completed Government infantry marching.
I apologise for the quality.
I'm expecting production moulds and stock to be completed within a couple of weeks therefore this weekend I will be putting the Government troops on the web shop to pre.order. As a thankyou for those that order there will be a 10% discount on the figure pack prices.

Progress report on the Crann Tara British/Government Ifantry for the Jacobite rebellion

I've started painting some of the British Infantry Richard has sculpted for my Jacobite range
Here's a progress shot, poor photo due to weird lighting today.
I've started on the Grenadiers and the Command for the marching troops and then the firing line.

Griffin have started work on the production moulds so they should be in stock shortly

New Gallowglass ready

I am pleased to say that the first set of six Gallowglass for the Border Reiver and Irish wars are now ready.
I have painted a full set up, all open handed to take either the mean looking axes or pike depending on your fancy.
They will be in the shop over the weekend.
Sculpted by Martin Baker he has aimed to make them fit in with the current range.
I will be taking some comparison shots later. Nice for the Irish to get some big lads!
Next up will be a pack of Gallowglass advancing/attacking.
