Wednesday 21 December 2016

As the year draws to a close I thought it was time to give a final update. First can I thank you all for what has been the best year for Crann Tara we are still a small acorn in the wargames market but we've grown.

The New Year will see the launch of a new web site and with look it should be a seamless transition! Alos shortly after christmas I will be taking pre.orders for a number of figures - The British Infantry gunners, British Fusilier at Ready and in stock the Scots Grey ensign.

I will hold back on what I hope to have available for Salute but there will be new figures both as pre.release offers and new releases in their own right. Keep up to date on the Crann Tara blog or Fcebook page.
So can I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a peaceful New Year.

I received back from Griffin some metal masters of conversions I had been doing

These are only 3 of the figures - The British Fusilier and the Infantry gunners will be available to pre.order in the New Year as will the generic infantry marching and the Savoia grenadier - marching.
The highland cavalry trooper I want to work on and create 3 or 4 variants before release.

I'm certainly hoping they're all in stock for Salute. The Scots Grey ensign is finished and will also be in the shop in the New year.

Whilst Richard is busy sculpting the next releases I've also been playing and have almost finished 8 figures for the Compagnie Franche de la Marine.
These are for use in the Sugar Islands campaign but I guess they could be used for other things. Depending how they cast they may also be available for Salute!

Have a great Christmas and thanks for your support and encouragement.

Royal Vasseux and British Guards completed

Finished basing the Royal Vasseux today

Painted by Steve Allen and flags by GMB a nice addition to the ever growing French army.

I also finished basing the Guards the other week, whilst I'm focussing on the British army at Culloden I also want to add untis for the campaigns in Europe and the 'what if's so that's my excuse.
