Coming soon :) Savoia Command

Time to post a couple of pictures of some of the Savoia Command John has done,
these are painted by him also.
There are also Officers and Standard bearers, some of the figures have been converted from the French Command and for those aren't too fussy these could be used for French!
Production mould is being made by Griffin, hope to have these ready for Salute.

Customers Figures.

Until I can get to work out how to create a gallery (if possible) on the website thought I'd post a couple of photos of figures painted by some of my customers.
Great job by both individuals.
First up Jacobites painted by Philip Hatton

Then some Savoia infantry and Garde Lorraine painted by Harold Batten

Great stuff, if anyone else has photos of their painted Crann Tara figures please send them to me.

Royal Ecosse and Savoia Infantry

Just thought I'd post a couple of pics of figures painted.
The first is my eventually completed Royal Ecosse - I gave them the European Red trousers rather than the oft seen off white because I thought it looked a lot better!!

Then I thought I'd post the images of Johns Savoia Infantry - I think they look excellent en masse.
Sculpted and painted by John what a talented chap.
The command figures will be going off for production in the next week

Finally mu own humble efforts at sculpting - slowly getting better - these I will use for Dutch infantry, the kneeling British chap is for an assault team I'm making.

Salute 2015 Pre.Order discount 15%

I have been lucky enough to get booked in with my trade stand at this years Salute and whilst
it may still be early  with the untimely death of Stewart Griffin of Griffin Miniatures just before Christmas orders have been taken a little longer to get cast.

Therefore rather than take a chance I'm opening up the Salute Pre. Order offer early. Between now and the end of March all orders over £45 and for collection at Salute will receive a healthy 15% discount.  Just enter SALUTE15 when placing the order.

As to new releases I'm hoping to have some new pieces ready but I'm not announcing anything yet - however any one who has placed an order for collection and also purchases any new figures on the day will receive the same discount.
This offer doesn't include discount on the Flags.

Just head over to the shop. If anyone has any questions or problems just get in touch and we can sort something out.

A quick Round Up of 2014 and what's next.

First can I wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope Santa brings you more toys for your metal mountain or pile, depending! and thank you for supporting me and the range.

It will most probably come as no surprise that 2014 has been the best year so far for Crann Tara,- sales have been good, Richard has been productive and I have forged an alliance with Niels of Westfalia Forge and their lovely equipment range.

Financially i guess I may be just about paying my way or at least closing the gap on expenditure over income :) just don't tell the wife!

So what's the plan next year -
I aim to finish the Jacobite rebellion, Richard is currently sculpting Fitz James' horse and the Princes Lifeguard - both of which will suitable for WAS French.
Baggotts Hussars - mounted and foot, a kneeling French infantry man and a mounted British Horse Grenadier ( cos I wanted one :) ).

I would like to think we will get these out in time for Salute but it all depends on Griffin the casters/mould makers who are one of the best in the business but are also very busy!!!!

Following that the Jacobite Personalities and either Government or Jacobite Artillery crew. The Georgia Scouts and mounted Highlanders.

The final release will see which ever artillery crew didn't make it, Government Marines and some other surprises.

John, the other sculptor will be doing some more Savoia pieces and the main project will be the Garde Francais. - no timescales on this though.

To close a couple of my favorite pics  - the Government firing line and the Westfalia Miniatures amusette being pulled by some of my own  Albion sculpts
